Information you provide directly:
- Identifiers & contact details: name, email, phone number.
- Service & property details: service address(es), access instructions you provide (e.g., gate/lockbox codes), preferred dates/times, job descriptions, parts lists.
- Media: photos/videos you upload or that we capture for estimates, progress updates, quality assurance, and portfolio records.
- Reviews & testimonials: feedback, star ratings, and content you submit about our services (including any photos/videos you attach).
- Communications: messages, emails, phone/SMS communications, and support inquiries.
- Payment-related information: We send estimates/invoices and accept payments through Joist. Joist and its payment partners (e.g., PayPal and card processors) process your payment information on our behalf. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with our site (through log files and cookies/analytics). See Cookies & analytics below.
Information from third parties:
- Referrals & platforms: lead sources (e.g., online directories, advertising platforms), social media interactions, and payment partners.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and improve Services: process quote requests, schedule and complete jobs, manage work orders, and provide customer support.
- Communicate: send estimates, appointment reminders/updates, service notices, and administrative messages.
- Process payments & invoices: via secure third‑party payment processors.

Reviews, photos & videos (user content)
If you submit a review/testimonial or grant permission for us to use job photos/videos:
- You give us a non‑exclusive license to use, reproduce, and publish that content in our marketing (website, social media, print) until you withdraw permission.
- You may withdraw permission at any time; we will remove the content from our active channels where feasible on a go‑forward basis (prior print materials or third‑party reposts may be outside our control).
- We avoid showing faces, license plates, or exact street addresses without permission. On request, we can blur or crop identifying details.
Payments & invoicing (Joist/PayPal)
We send estimates and invoices and accept payments using Joist. Payments may be processed by PayPal and/or other card processors engaged by Joist. When you open a Joist invoice, follow a payment link, or pay via QR code that routes to Joist or PayPal, your information is handled under those providers’ privacy notices in addition to this Policy. We do not store full card numbers.
QR codes
Our printed or digital QR codes typically link to our website, a Joist estimate/invoice, or a PayPal checkout page. Scanning a QR code may result in the destination site setting cookies or collecting device/usage data consistent with its own privacy policy. We do not collect scan data beyond standard web logs unless otherwise stated.
Disclosures of information
We share personal information with:
- Service providers/processors: website hosting and security, CRM/scheduling, customer communications (email/SMS), Joist (estimates/invoices/payments), PayPal (payments), analytics, and file storage. These parties are contractually bound to use information only to provide services to us.
- Professional advisors: accountants, auditors, insurers, lawyers.
- Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
- Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
Selling/sharing: We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising where state law defines “share” to include targeted advertising. If we ever change this, we will provide required notices and opt‑out mechanisms in advance.
SMS/MMS and phone communications
If you provide a mobile number, you may receive text messages related to your requests (e.g., appointment updates). Marketing texts require your consent where applicable.

We do not sell or share personal information and do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes requiring a right to limit. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will verify requests.
EEA/UK: You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal does not affect prior processing). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it.

Additional notes for customers
- Photos & marketing: We will ask for your permission before using before/after photos or videos in marketing. Saying “no” will not affect the services you receive. You can withdraw consent and we will remove media from our channels where feasible.
- Access instructions: If you provide codes or special access instructions, we use them only to perform scheduled work and delete/update them on request.
- Payments via Joist/PayPal: Invoices and some payment links/QR codes are powered by Joist and may route to PayPal; their privacy notices apply when you interact with those services. We do not store full card numbers.
- QR codes: Scanning a QR code may direct you to our site, Joist, or PayPal; those destinations may set cookies or collect device data.
